Frequently Asked Questions
-
We will plan your rehabilitation around an activity or sport you like. Our team will structure your rehabilitation so it includes exercises and motions you are familiar with.
-
We specialize in treating Kienbock’s disease with minimally invasive surgeries. In some cases, if we can diagnose the condition early, we are able to help patients avoid any negative effects of the disease.
-
We have helped pioneer a new procedure to stabilize cartilage tears on the small finger side of the wrist, also known as triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tears. The procedure uses a FAST-FIX anchor and technique called a Herbert sling, which help stabilize the TFCC. Most patients who undergo this surgery can achieve 90 percent of their previous strength after a TFCC.
