Since 1987, Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute has been a leader in transforming how heart and vascular care is delivered. Founded by renowned interventional radiologist Barry T. Katzen, M.D., the Institute was among the first in the country to treat the heart and blood vessels as a single, integrated system—a revolutionary model that others still follow today.
