Neil Nagovski, M.D., FACP, is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute. He specializes in the treatment of malignant hematologic disorders, such as leukemias, lymphomas, plasma cell neoplasms, myeloproliferative disorders and bone marrow failure syndromes, as well as benign hematologic disorders.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Nagovski was a hematologist-oncologist at Holy Cross Health – Michael & Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Dr. Nagovski earned his medical degree at First Tashkent State Medical Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University in Bronx, N.Y. His post-doctoral training also includes a hematology-oncology fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester, Wilmot Cancer Institute.
Dr. Nagovski is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of numerous professional organizations. He has participated in research on hematologic malignancies and lectured at national medical conferences. For five years, he served as a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Board of Trustees, Southern Florida Chapter.
Dr. Nagovski strives to make a difference in the community and in the lives of his patients and families. He finds it extremely rewarding to build relationships with his patients and their loved ones and be part of their journey toward healing and survivorship.
Dr. Nagovski is fluent in English and Russian. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
