Taking care of the whole patient is an important component of providing personalized cancer care. Integrated into the fabric of the Miami Cancer Institute, the Cancer Patient Support Center addresses the psychological, physical, social and spiritual needs of our patients during cancer treatment and beyond.

The Cancer Patient Support Center provides a broad range of care including mental health services, social work services, physical rehabilitation and pain management, oncology nutrition counseling, integrative medicine (acupuncture, massage therapy, exercise classes) and comprehensive survivorship care. These services are available to patients from diagnosis through active treatment and into survivorship. Our survivorship program is one of only a few in the nation that offers expanded medical services to address the full spectrum of survivorship care and help transition survivors to life beyond cancer. With an emphasis on healing, recover, wellness and disease prevention, the Cancer Patient Support Center improves the quality of life and health outcomes of our cancer patients.
