At Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute, our internationally acclaimed radiation oncologists are leaders in image-guided radiation treatments. We helped develop and launch Radixact™ TomoTherapy, the first highly advanced radiation treatment that delivers image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT).

How TomoTherapy Works
TomoTherapy treatment starts with a CT scan that can map your tumor and potential treatment site. Based on that scan, our radiation oncologists combine precise 3D imaging with highly targeted radiation beams delivered from 360 degrees around your body. As a result, they can precisely target your radiation dose on a specific spot.
Using advanced technology, TomoTherapy streamlines your treatment experience by integrating your therapy planning, body positioning and treatment delivery.
