After your child is treated for DSRCT, we will provide follow-up care to check for recurrence and to deal with any side effects of the disease or its treatment. Your child may need rehabilitation, including physical and occupational therapy to regain strength and function and to help with daily living skills.

Your child and family will also have access to our Pediatric Support Center, focusing on your child’s social, emotional and psychological well-being and offering support for the whole family, including siblings. Some of the services available include our:

Survivorship program

Your child’s life as a cancer survivor will include regular visits with our pediatric cancer team to ensure the best possible outcomes and to help prevent or treat any complications following treatment. We’ll work with your child’s primary care physician and other health providers to monitor growth and development, and offer education and counseling about nutrition, exercise and health living so you can take the best care of your child.
