As a world leader in cancer treatment, we are the only cancer institute to offer all advanced therapies under one roof, including proton therapy. Miami Cancer Institute is home to the first center for this revolutionary treatment from South Florida to South America.
Research
At Miami Cancer Institute, we know that research can lead to better long-term patient outcomes and significantly improved quality of life. Our Clinical Research Program focuses on breakthrough investigations into nine types of cancer. We also partner with our Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance colleagues to conduct hundreds of novel clinical trials.

Baptist Health Cancer Care ranks among the top 10 percent of cancer programs nationwide. Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute is #1 in South Florida. We received High Performing ratings in complex cancer care, prostate cancer surgery, lung cancer surgery, and leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma cancer care. Along with the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, we also received a High Performing rating in colon cancer surgery.
