Comprehensive Oral Health Support

Comprehensive Oral Health Support

Oral Medicine & Oral Oncology supports patients across every stage of care, with an emphasis on prevention, early detection and symptom management:

  • Preventive care and screening: Identifying oral (mouth) diseases early and addressing risk factors before they become more serious.
  • Support during treatment: Managing oral symptoms to help patients remain comfortable and maintain nutrition and daily activities.
  • Ongoing and survivorship care: Monitoring oral health over time and addressing late or long-term effects.

This continuity of care allows patients to focus on healing while knowing their oral health is being carefully supported.

  • Potentially malignant and precancerous oral conditions that benefit from early evaluation
  • Oral mucosal diseases (e.g., oral lichen planus, pemphigus vulgaris)

  • Chronic oral pain, inflammatory disorders and ulcerative conditions
  • Treatment-related side effects such as dry mouth (xerostomia), oral infections, mucositis and tissue sensitivity
  • Orofacial pain conditions including burning mouth syndrome and temporomandibular disorders
  • Salivary gland diseases (e.g., Sjögren syndrome)

Through early identification, prevention-focused care and ongoing monitoring, we help reduce complications and support overall well-being.
