Yusleidi Gil, M.D., Joins Baptist Health as a Primary Care Physician
MIAMI, FL – September 27, 2023 – Primary care physician Yusleidi Gil, M.D., recently joined Baptist Health. Specializing in disease prevention, she is fluent in English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Gil worked as a donor management coordinator at the University of Miami, where she evaluated life-saving organs suitable for transplant.
After earning her medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, she completed her internal medicine residency at New York Medical College at St. Mary’s General and St. Clare’s Hospitals. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Through diligent research and clinical acumen, Dr. Gil contributed to the medical community by publishing a comprehensive case report elucidating an intricate complication in the treatment of COVID-19. Her remarkable expertise and compassionate approach were evident not only in her research but she also played a pivotal role in the establishment of a community health fair at her residency program, showcasing her commitment to medical education and community engagement.
Committed to making a difference beyond her clinical duties, Dr. Gil took part in an annual medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This experience furthered her dedication to serving underserved communities and reinforced her belief in the transformative power of healthcare.
Through care based on empathy, compassion and education, Dr. Gil empowers patients to take control of their health.
