Xiaojuan (Joy) Zheng, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Primary Care as a Family Medicine Physician

BOCA RATON, FL – May 30, 2024 – Board-certified family medicine physician Xiaojuan (Joy) Zheng, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Zheng provides comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages and genders. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, she focuses on preventive care to reduce the risk for diseases. She offers health-risk assessments, immunizations, screening tests and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care, Dr. Zheng was a family medicine physician at Charles B. Wang Community Health Center in New York City, where she provided physicals, chronic disease management and urgent care to an underserved population.

Dr. Zheng earned her bachelor’s degree at Harvard University and her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

To deliver the best patient care, Dr. Zheng listens to her patients and partners with them to create a successful health plan. “I enjoy providing my patients with education that can help them make positive changes in their health,” she said. “It is gratifying to see patients make positive strides when they come for follow-up visits.”              

Dr. Zheng is fluent in English and Chinese-Mandarin. She will see patients at Baptist Health Primary Care, 2465 State Road 7, Suite 800, Wellington, FL 33414.
