December 12, 2022

MIAMI, FL – December 12, 2022 – Wendy Bocaille, M.D., joins Baptist Health as a family medicine physician.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Bocaille to Baptist Health’s family medicine team,” says Bernie Fernandez, M.D., chief executive officer of Baptist Health Medical Group. “The diversity of her accomplishments – from earning her residency’s patient care award to her work with FIU’s Neighborhood Health Education Learning Program – highlight her passion for providing everyone exemplary care.”

Before joining Baptist Health, Dr. Bocaille earned her medical degree at Indiana University and then completed her family medicine residency at West Kendall Baptist Hospital in affiliation with Florida International University. She also trained with West Kendall’s OBGYN Medical Group and The Palace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

As a family medicine physician, she builds rapport with her patients through transparent communication and shared decision-making. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Bocaille is committed to overcoming health disparities and providing continuous care through strong patient-doctor relationships.

Through her focus on culturally sensitive care, Dr. Bocaille is dedicated to helping people from all walks of life. “Witnessing how financial hardship and other barriers to care affected the Haitian community where I grew up inspired me to become a physician,” says Dr. Bocaille. “I want to help patients as much I can at each visit, so they can feel better and enjoy an improved quality of life.”

Dr. Bocaille will see patients at 15955 Southwest 96 St., Suite 200, Miami, FL 33196.
