Urologist Rair J. Valero Carrion, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Urology
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – September 12, 2024 – Urologist Rair J. Valero Carrion, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Urology. He specializes in the treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the prostate, kidney, and bladder using minimally invasive surgical procedures, including robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic techniques. Dr. Valero also has expertise in the treatment of diseases affecting the male and female urinary system and genital and reproductive organs.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Valero was a urologist at Hospital de Clinicas Caracas, in Venezuela.

Dr. Valero earned his medical degree at Universidad de Carabobo Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, in Valencia, Venezuela. He completed a general surgery internship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, a urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and a Fellowship in Minimally invasive surgery in Urology at Global Robotics Institute, Orlando, Florida, and Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris, France.
Dr. Valero has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented scientific papers at professional symposiums. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Urological Association, and several other professional organizations.
To help his patients improve their health, Dr. Valero provides personalized and compassionate care. “I also stay up to date on new technologies and techniques in urological care that can achieve better outcomes for my patients and enhance their quality of life,” Dr. Valero said.
