Spencer Streit, D.O., Joins The Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute as a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist
BOCA RATON, FL – September 1, 2026 – Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist Spencer Streit, D.O., has joined the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He treats a broad range of solid tumors and has a special interest in gastrointestinal cancers. He is dedicated to providing evidence-based, personalized cancer care and improving outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Streit completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, Florida, where he served as chief hematology-oncology fellow.

Dr. Streit earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, where he served as chief resident. His clinical training also includes a hematology-oncology fellowship at Memorial Healthcare System.
Dr. Streit has contributed to research and presentations on a variety of cancer-related topics, including gastric adenocarcinoma, gastrointestinal bleeding, hematologic diagnoses and targeted therapies in cancer. His work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at scientific meetings. He also contributes to the medical community as a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, American College of Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Dr. Streit is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care throughout every stage of the cancer journey. “I believe it is important to support not only my patients, but also their families, as they navigate the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and treatment,” he said. “My goal is to ensure that patients and their loved ones feel informed, supported and empowered every step of the way.”
