BOCA RATON, FL – September 8, 2025 – Roxana M. Dragomir, M.D., has joined Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health, as a neurohospitalist. She specializes in the care of patients with neurological conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Her clinical interests include acute pathologies such as stroke, neuromuscular emergencies and headaches.

Dr. Dragomir earned her medical degree at Transilvania University, Faculty of Medicine, in Romania where she is also a Ph.D. candidate. She completed her internal medicine internship and neurology residency at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton, serving as chief resident. Dr. Dragomir is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as well as several professional organizations. She is committed to advancing medical knowledge and has been involved in multiple publications and presentations.
Dr. Dragomir’s care philosophy focuses on providing personalized care that respects a patient’s background and individuality. “I enjoy listening and taking time to understand my patient’s concerns while conducting a thorough medical history inquiry and examination,” she said. “I believe that involving my patients in the decision-making process is key to developing a successful treatment plan and achieving a positive outcome.”
Dr. Dragomir is fluent in English, Romanian and Spanish and conversational in French and German. She will treat hospitalized patients at three locations: Bethesda Hospital East (2815 S. Seacrest Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33435); Bethesda Hospital West (9655 Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33472); and Boca Raton Regional Hospital (800 Meadows Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486).
