October 17, 2024

CORAL GABLES, FL – October 17, 2024 – Ravindra Ganesh, MBBS, M.D., MPH, FACP, has joined Baptist Health Concierge Medicine. Dr. Ganesh specializes in providing preventive care and coordinating ongoing medical care for concierge medicine patients, who have 24/7 direct access to a dedicated concierge medicine team.

Dr. Ganesh has expertise in creating holistic, multidisciplinary treatment plans that promote well-being and longevity. Concierge medicine patients can schedule same-day, next-day or virtual appointments and experience longer, more personalized visits with Dr. Ganesh and other concierge medicine physicians. A dedicated navigation team also streamlines the patient’s healthcare journey by scheduling outpatient appointments for tests or with specialty doctors covering nearly every medical specialty.

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Ganesh held multiple clinical and leadership positions at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He was an attending physician in the Division of General Internal Medicine, head of the Section of International Medicine, practice chair of Integrative Medicine and Health and medical director of the Long COVID Clinic. He also served as a preceptor and lecturer for medical residents and fellows.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ganesh to our highly skilled team of medical professionals at Baptist Health, dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients,” said Jack A. Ziffer, Ph.D., M.D., FACC, FAHA, FASNC, MSCCT, FACR, executive vice president, chief clinical officer and chief physician executive for Baptist Health.

"Dr. Ganesh will help us build a robust concierge medicine program that offers patients comprehensive health management, convenience and an elevated healthcare experience,” said Jonathan Fialkow, Ph.D., M.D., executive vice president, chief clinical officer, and chief physician executive of Baptist Health.

Dr. Ganesh earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisc., after earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kingston, Jamaica. His clinical training includes an internal medicine residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. He also earned a Master of Public Health degree at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Ganesh has conducted research in his field and published his work in multiple medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of numerous professional organizations, including several leading longevity societies.

Recognizing that each patient is unique, Dr. Ganesh offers patient-centered care. “Genetics, exposures, disease state, socioeconomic challenges and more interplay to create a complex and unique environment that drives disease and response to therapeutics,” he said. “Therefore, medicine is not a one-size-fits-all approach but rather an attempt to identify treatments that benefit the patient — evidence-informed but patient-driven.”

Dr. Ganesh will see concierge medicine patients at Baptist Health Concierge Medicine | Coral Gables (Belmont Village) 4101 Salzedo Street, Coral Gables, FL 33146.
