Michael Zeidman, M.D., Joins The Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute as a Breast Surgical Oncologist

BOCA RATON, FL – April 1, 2025 – Breast surgical oncologist Michael Zeidman, M.D., has joined the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He specializes in the surgical treatment of patients with benign and malignant breast disease. He also cares for patients at high risk for breast cancer, such as those with a genetic predisposition or strong family history. His clinical interests include oncoplastic surgery and hidden scar breast surgery.

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Zeidman was the site director of breast surgery at Mount Sinai Brooklyn and served as assistant professor of surgery at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, N.Y.

Dr. Zeidman earned his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. He completed a general surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y., where he served as administrative chief and morbidity and mortality coordinator. His clinical training also includes a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Zeidman has presented his research in neoadjuvant chemotherapy at national meetings and published his work in scientific journals. As an active member of Operation International, he participates in annual mission trips to Africa to provide surgical care for underserved patients. He is also a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology and serves on committees for these organizations.

Dr. Zeidman treats his patients like family members and ensures they can easily reach him with any questions or concerns. “I take time to educate my patients, and I encourage them to be active participants in their care so we can work together to formulate an individualized care plan.”

Dr. Zeidman will see patients at two Lynn Cancer Institute locations: 10301 Hagen Ranch Road, Suite A960, Boynton Beach, FL 33437; and 690 Meadows Road, Boca Raton, FL, 33486.
