Michael Raisch, M.D., joins Miami Cancer Institute as Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and Dermatologist

MIAMI – February 10, 2022 – Board-certified in Dermatology and  Mohs Micrographic Surgery, dermatologist Michael Raisch, M.D. has joined Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health. Dr. Raisch will specialize in Mohs micrographic surgery, and also see patients in the skin cancer clinic.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Raisch to Miami Cancer Institute,” said Leonard Kalman, M.D., executive deputy director and chief medical officer at Miami Cancer Institute. “His extensive experience treating skin cancer, particularly using the Mohs micrographic surgery technique, will make him an asset to our patients.”

Dr. Raisch has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals, including Science, Dermatitis, The American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology, and Developmental Biology. He has also presented at  national dermatology meetings and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Raisch earned his medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at the Duke University Medical Center and a fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He will see patients at Miami Cancer Institute, located at 8900 North Kendall Drive.
