Miami Cancer Institute to Host Sixth Annual Global Summit on Immunotherapies for Hematologic Malignancies
MIAMI, FL – November 15, 2024 – Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida, today announced it will host the Sixth Annual Global Summit on Immunotherapies for Hematologic Malignancies on March 7-8, 2025, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Brickell, Miami, Fla. The focus of the symposium will be on advances in the fields of multiple myeloma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and acute myeloid leukemia, as well as CAR-T cell therapies and allogeneic stem cell transplants, among others.
“The 2025 symposium features an impressive roster of world-leading experts in hematologic cancers and other malignancies,” said Guenther Koehne M.D., Ph.D., summit founder, deputy director of Miami Cancer Institute and chief of blood and marrow transplant and hematologic oncology. “Over the past years, we have seen a significant increase in promising research and advances that have a positive impact on patients who suffer from these and related diseases and conditions. Attendees of the symposium will hear about novel treatment approaches as well as other updates in the field.”
Speakers and panelists from the leading cancer centers in the U.S., UK and Latin America will discuss a wide array of topics, such as combination and T-cell redirecting therapies for multiple myeloma, the multiple myeloma treatment landscape in Latin America, new treatment approaches for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, next steps in CAR-T cell therapies, targeted and emerging therapies for acute myeloid leukemia, and next steps in immunotherapies.

Baptist Health South Florida is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Baptist Health has been re-surveyed by the ACCME and awarded Commendation for 6 years as a provider of CME for physicians.
