Miami Cancer Institute Researchers Present Latest Findings at 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology
MIAMI, FL & SAN DIEGO, CA – August 14, 2025 – Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida, today announced its presentations at the 67th American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting, September 27 – October 1, 2025, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. The presentations focus on emerging advancements and nuanced evaluations in radiation oncology, innovations in proton and MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy, treatment planning and outcomes for gastrointestinal and brain cancers, automated imaging segmentation tools, motion management, and biological modeling of treatment risks.
“We have a wide array of impactful presentations at this year’s ASTRO annual meeting,” said Minesh P. Mehta, M.D., deputy director and chief of radiation oncology at Miami Cancer Institute. “Our presentations underscore Miami Cancer Institute’s commitment to precision, innovation, and evidence-based care – advancing how we plan, deliver, and adapt radiation therapy for complex and challenging cancers. In addition to our presentations at ASTRO, we have an educational session on ablative radiation therapy for pancreas cancer.”
Miami Cancer Institute researchers will have three oral and eight poster presentations, participate in three quick pitches, and join one educational session at ASTRO 2025:
