May 13, 2025
Boca Raton, FL-May 13, 2025-Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida, located at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, is proud to announce its participation in the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model, a nationwide initiative designed to assist in the management of dementia care. The GUIDE Model focuses on several areas, including care coordination, implementing a standardized approach to dementia care and management; support for caregivers, giving them much-needed relief, training, and support; and community integration, which aims to help individuals with the disease to remain in their homes for as long as possible.
“Participating in the GUIDE program is a testament to Marcus Neuroscience Institute’s commitment to delivering exceptional care to our patients and their families,” said Peter Gliebus, M.D., director of cognitive and behavioral neurology at Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health. “We are dedicated to not only improving the lives of those living with dementia but also supporting the caregivers who are so crucial to their well-being.”
