George Guerrero, D.O., MPH, Joins Baptist Health Primary Care
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – August 8, 2024 – Primary care physician George Guerrero, D.O., MPH, has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. He specializes in the management of acute and chronic medical conditions as well as preventive healthcare. His clinical interests include the management of hypertension and diabetes, as these common conditions can contribute to poor health outcomes when not appropriately managed.

Dr. Guerrero earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a master’s degree in public health at Florida International University. His medical training includes an internal medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians – Florida Chapter.
To improve the health of his patients, Dr. Guerrero serves as an advisor and educator and includes his patients in the decision-making process. This patient-physician relationship ensures his patients agree with the healthcare plan and will follow the recommendations. “I believe patients are most invested in their health when they are empowered to actively participate in their care,” Dr. Guerrero said.
