Fawad Yousuf, M.D., joins Marcus Neuroscience Institute as a Neurologist
BOCA RATON, FL – September 20, 2021 – Fawad Yousuf, M.D., joins Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida, as a neurologist. Dr. Yousuf specializes in general neurology, multiple sclerosis and neuroimaging. He is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.

Founded at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Marcus Neuroscience Institute has expanded its services to Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West.

Dr. Yousuf joins Marcus Neuroscience Institute from the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, where he completed a neurology residency.
During his residency training, Dr. Yousuf was awarded the prestigious University of Kentucky College of Medicine Silver Award twice for patient care and professionalism. He also served as “Residents as Teachers” course director in the Department of Neurology.
Dr. Yousuf completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His areas of research include the treatment effect of multiple disease-modifying therapies on MRI metrics in patients with multiple sclerosis and neuroimaging in patients with MS.
His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including Brain, the Journal of Neuroimaging, CNS Spectrums, the Journal of the Neurological Sciences, the International Journal of Neuroscience, the American Journal of Neuroradiology and Frontiers in Neurology. He has also presented at many industry events and conferences.
Dr. Yousuf earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College.
He will see patients at two convenient locations in the Boca Raton and Boynton Beach communities: 2800 S. Seacrest Blvd., Suite 160 in Boynton Beach (across from Baptist Health’s Bethesda Hospital East) and 800 Meadows Road in Boca Raton.
