Elizabeth Rubin, D.O., Joins The Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute as a Hematologist Oncologist
BOCA RATON, FL – November 3, 2025 – Hematologist oncologist Elizabeth Rubin, D.O., has joined the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She specializes in the treatment of cancer using therapies such as chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy and targeted therapy and has a clinical and academic interest in breast oncology. She is board certified in internal medicine.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rubin to our multidisciplinary cancer care team, dedicated to the highest quality care,” said Louise Morrell, M.D., chief medical executive at Lynn Cancer Institute.
Dr. Rubin earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine after earning a master’s degree in medical clinical sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Her clinical training includes an internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a hematology oncology fellowship at Memorial Regional Hospital. During her fellowship, Dr. Rubin conducted breast cancer research, resulting in published studies, and spent her last year managing a dedicated breast clinic.
Since each patient’s experiences, priorities and support systems are unique, Dr. Rubin focuses on the whole person, not just the disease, when partnering with her patients to make treatment decisions. “My goal is to be a physician my patients can rely upon through the ups and downs of their cancer journey — someone who listens, supports them emotionally and provides the best evidence-based care so they feel both medically and personally supported,” she said.
Dr. Rubin is fluent in English and Russian. She will see patients at two Lynn Cancer Institute locations: 701 NW 13 Street, Boca Raton, FL 33486; and 6282 Linton Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33484.
