Eduardo Icaza, M.D., joins Miami Neuroscience Institute as Comprehensive and Interventional Pain Management Physician
MIAMI, FL – November 8, 2022 – Eduardo Icaza, M.D., joins Miami Neuroscience Institute, a part of Baptist Health, as a comprehensive and interventional pain management physician. Dr. Icaza specializes in diagnosing and treating various acute and chronic pain conditions including spinal, neuropathic and postsurgical pain. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Icaza joins Miami Neuroscience Institute from Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedics, Spine and Pain Specialists, where he served as an interventional pain physician. He also consulted for several Detroit-area hospitals.
Dr. Icaza earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He then completed an anesthesiology integrated residency at the University of Michigan and a pain medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
During medical school, he earned the Robert Sweet Excellence in Anesthesiology award. He holds double board certifications in pain medicine and anesthesiology. Dr. Icaza is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Spine Intervention Society and the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience.
He will see patients at 8950 North Kendall Dr., Suite 410W, Miami, FL 33176 and 6200 Sunset Dr., Suite 120, South Miami, FL 33143.
