Richard Morgan, D.O., joins Baptist Health as a Spine Care Physician
MIAMI, FL – Monday, September 25, 2023 – Spine care physician Richard Morgan, D.O., recently joined Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute as a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

As a physiatrist, Dr. Morgan focuses on providing physical medicine and rehabilitation interventions that help patients regain function and mobility. His clinical and research interests include diagnostic and interventional neuromuscular ultrasound, spasticity management and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Morgan’s research has been published in multiple medical journals, including the Journal of Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury. He has also presented extensively at national medical meetings and is a member of American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists and North American Spine Society.
After earning his osteopathic medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Morgan completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation medicine residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami.
“As a former Division 1 college football player, physical medicine and rehabilitation is the perfect marriage between my interests in sports medicine and neuroscience. I’m here to work collaboratively with my patients so they can achieve the best possible outcomes,” said Dr. Morgan.
