David B. Scholl, D.O., Joins Baptist Health Primary Care as a Family Medicine Physician

MIAMI, FL – July 2, 2025 – Board-certified family medicine physician David B. Scholl has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. He has more than 20 years of experience in various aspects of patient care, including preventive medicine, nutrition counseling, wellness screenings, treatment of acute illnesses and injuries and chronic disease management.

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Scholl was a primary care physician and medical director of Claremedica of Homestead.

Dr. Scholl is certified by the American Osteopathic Board in family medicine/osteopathic manipulative treatment. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.

Dr. Scholl earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale after earning a master’s degree in nutritional sciences at the University of Florida in Gainesville. His clinical training includes a three-year family medicine residency at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where he served as chief resident.

To help his patients achieve a state of wellness, Dr. Scholl takes a patient-centered approach that emphasizes active listening and understanding their individual needs and preferences. “I aim to empower my patients by helping them achieve their personal health goals,” he said.
