Charlotte Tudela, M.D., joins Baptist Health as an Internal Medicine Physician
MIAMI, FL – May 12, 2023 – Charlotte Tudela, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Baptist Health.

For the last five years, Dr. Tudela worked as a hospitalist for Baptist Health South Miami Hospital, where she served as the lead physician to a committee dedicated to improving doctor-patient communication.
Dr. Tudela is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Royal College of General Practitioners. She earned South Miami Hospital’s Physician of the Year Award in 2022 for her outstanding work in patient care.
After earning her medical degree from the University of Manchester Medical School and working as a family medicine physician in the UK for several years, Dr. Tudela traveled to the United States to complete her internal medicine residency at the Kendall Regional Medical Center.
After the documentary Junior Doctors inspired her to pursue a career in medicine at the age of 10, Dr. Tudela never looked back. “I love the increased sense of urgency when you know you and your team are the first line of care for patients,” she says. “It feels like I’m Sherlock Holmes as I help patients.”
In addition to internal medicine, Dr. Tudela also looks forward to helping patients with obesity and teaching incoming internal medicine residents at Baptist Health.
