Bill Ulbricht Named Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Hospital
MIAMI, FL — April 11, 2022 — Baptist Health South Florida today announced it has named Bill Ulbricht as Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Hospital, one of South Florida’s largest hospitals with approximately 950 beds, more than 5,000 employees and 1,300 active members of the medical staff. This will be effective on May 11 as current CEO, Patricia Rosello, moves into the new role of Chief Patient Experience Officer for the health system.

Ulbricht has served as Chief Operating and Administrative Officer for the Clinical Enterprise division of Baptist Health since August 2019. In this capacity, he has had administrative oversight over Baptist Health Medical Group, Baptist Health Quality Network, eICU, Research, and Home Health; and has supported the specialty institutes within the health system.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Ulbricht spent 23 years working with the BayCare Health System in Tampa. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for BayCare Medical Group, the largest medical group in Tampa Bay with more than 1,000 primary care and specialty physicians. He has also served as Chief Operating Officer and President of South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Florida; and President of St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he led the hospital’s revitalization.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Finance from the University of Kentucky and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver.
