Baptist Health Foundation Receives $2 Million Gift from The Harry T. Mangurian, Jr. Foundation for Baptist Health Medical Group
MIAMI, FL – June 15, 2022 – Baptist Health Foundation announced today that The Harry T. Mangurian, Jr. Foundation has provided a $2 million gift to establish an endowed chair to honor and support the work of Bernardo “Bernie” Fernandez, M.D., CEO of Baptist Health Medical Group. The Foundation’s gift is its second $2 million donation benefiting Baptist Health Medical Group.

Mangurian, Jr. Foundation for this latest gift,” said Alex Villoch, CEO of Baptist Health Foundation. “Their continued generous support will help further Baptist Health Medical Group’s efforts in expanding patient access to top-quality primary and specialty care in South Florida.”
Baptist Health Medical Group is a network of more than 200 medical providers in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. It includes primary care practices from Miami Beach to the Upper Keys, providing patients with a seamless and comprehensive approach to primary care.
