Baptist Health to Host Fit Festival in Doral
DORAL, FL – April 7, 2023 – Baptist Health announced today that Baptist Health Fit Fest Doral 2023 – the annual, community-wide wellness event – will be returning on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Free and open to the public, the event invites all of Miami-Dade County to participate in a fun-filled day, featuring engaging outdoor activities and exercises catered to all ages and skill levels. Taking place at Doral Meadow Park, this year’s event will be emceed by Lauren Pastrana and marks the organization’s third fit festival in Doral.
In line with the organization’s standing commitment to offering accessible health and wellness programs for the South Florida community, the event will feature an array of fitness classes and games, including a 2K Family Fun Run/Walk; yoga and movement with Andrea Lopez; Zumba with Loretta Bates; circuit training with Elyse Valdes; high-energy Rebolaxe’ and more. Attendees will also be invited to enjoy healthy bites catered by local eateries.
In addition to the roster of activities, the event will provide an opportunity for participants and families to engage in educational activations, with services provided by Baptist Health Cancer Care, Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care, Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, Baptist Health Primary Care, Baptist Health Urgent Care and more.

Baptist Health Fit Fest Doral 2023 comes three decades after Baptist Health first planted roots in the City of Doral. Since then, the organization has grown to include an urgent care facility in the heart of Downtown Doral, as well as the two-story Baptist Health Hospital Doral which opened in 2021.
Presented in partnership with Mind Body Social, Baptist Health Fit Fest Doral 2023 will begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. The event will take place at Doral Meadow Park, located at 11555 NW 58th Street, Doral, FL 33178.
