Baptist Health South Florida Presents Doral Fit Festival 2022

South Florida Healthcare System Announces the Return of the Free Community-Wide Event

DORAL, FL – April 20, 2022 – Baptist Health South Florida today announced that Doral Fit Festival will be returning to Downtown Doral Park on April 30, 2022. After a two-year pause due to the pandemic, the South Florida healthcare system is inviting all of Miami-Dade County to participate in the community-wide event, which will promote wellness and urge the public to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. This will mark the organization’s second Doral Fit Festival following the inaugural edition in 2020, and will be free for participants and families.

In line with the organization’s standing commitment to offering easily accessible wellness programs around South Florida, the event will feature an array of fitness classes; a performance by Leslie Cartaya; a “mini” farmers market; food trucks and kid-friendly games and activities. On-site attendees will be invited to participate in a 5K Fun Run/walk, yoga, Zumba, Robolaxe classes and other high-energy experiences.

The event will also feature a number of engaging educational opportunities, where guests can learn more about the variety of services available at Baptist Health, from cancer and heart & vascular care to orthopedics, brain and spine.

Doral Fit Festival 2022 comes nearly three decades after Baptist Health first planted roots in the City of Doral. Since then, the organization has grown to include an Urgent Care facility in the heart of Downtown Doral, as well as the sprawling new Baptist Health Hospital Doral, which just opened its doors this past fall.
