Baptist Health Partners with PrimeHealth Physicians to Expand Quality Healthcare Access for Patients
MIAMI, FL – March 16, 2022 – Baptist Health and PrimeHealth Physicians have come together to improve the quality and primary care options in Miami-Dade and Broward counties for patients. Baptist Health patients will now have wider access to care and more choices of physicians with the addition of PrimeHealth’s high quality clinician network, dedicated to delivering comprehensive health services through advanced technologies and enhanced coordination of care.
“In the ever-changing environment of healthcare, improving quality and access to care is central to staying ahead of the curve and standing as a trusted provider to patients who depend on us for their everyday health needs,” said Jonathan Fialkow, M.D., Chief Population Health Officer at Baptist Health South Florida. “Adding PrimeHealth Physicians, one of the largest physician-owned quality primary care groups in the country, to our network is a milestone in our commitment to doing just that and promoting a community first approach to care for our patients.”
“Our goal since PrimeHealth physicians was formed was to advocate for better care for our patients. This entails following their health care trail both in and outside our offices, reducing duplicative services and advocating a broad range of preventive care services. By partnering with Baptist Health, a nationally recognized quality leader, we are confident that this integration of healthcare and technology will allow us to further these goals,” said Mark Kutner MD, a founding member and Chairman of PrimeHealth Physicians.
Through this partnership, PrimeHealth Physicians will be focused on managing preventive healthcare needs to meet or surpass quality benchmarks including cancer screenings, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, osteoporosis and more.
