Baptist Health Foundation Receives $1 Million Gift from Sid and Ashley Perkins to Benefit Baptist Health Doctors Hospital
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – May 22, 2025 – Baptist Health Foundation announced today that it has received a $1 million donation from Sid and Ashley Perkins benefiting Baptist Health Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables. The gift will support the renovation and modernization of the hospital, including its surgical facilities, and will be recognized with a naming to be unveiled at a later date.

Their gift will help us enhance our facilities so we can provide extraordinary care, now and in the future.”
Sid Perkins serves as chair of the Foundation council for Doctors Hospital and Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. He also serves on the Foundation’s Executive Committee and the Doctors Hospital Operating Board. He hopes the family’s gift will inspire others to support Baptist Health as well. "We are making this gift in deep appreciation for the compassionate care this hospital provides every day,” said Mr. Perkins. “Our hope is that it supports the healing work of the incredible staff and helps ensure that everyone who walks through these doors continues to receive the dignity, hope and excellence they deserve.
