Baptist Health Breaks Ground on New Medical Center in Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – April 23, 2025 – Baptist Health broke ground today on a new medical center in Pembroke Pines that will expand access to high-quality emergency and outpatient care in Broward County. The facility, which will be located at 1400 SW 145th Ave., is expected to open in early 2027.

Spanning 60,865 square feet across three stories, the medical center will bring together services from Baptist Health Emergency Care, Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care, Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care and Baptist Health Primary Care. Patients will have access to emergency services, nonsurgical spine care, neurology, clinical cardiology, echocardiograms, stress testing and primary care – creating a destination for comprehensive care in one of South Florida’s fastest-growing regions.

The new facility is designed to foster collaboration across specialties, improving coordination of care and enhancing the overall patient experience. By combining outpatient services with emergency and specialty care, the complex will support both routine and urgent health needs in a modern, thoughtfully designed space.
