Baptist Health Announces Fit Festival in Broward County
MIAMI, FL – August 10, 2023 – Baptist Health announced today that the organization’s community-wide health and wellness program, Baptist Health Fit Fest, will be expanding to Broward County. Taking place on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in Deerfield Beach, the free event will feature engaging sports activities and exercise classes catered to all ages and skill levels.
In line with the organization’s commitment to providing high-quality and easily accessible health and wellness options for the South Florida community, the Fit Fest will feature a variety of wellness classes, including Zumba with Toni Costa, yoga with Brie Mazin, Dance with Hip Hop Kidz, a full body workout with OrangeTheory Fitness, and strength & tone with Pure Barre, in addition to mini golf, basketball and pickleball clinics, self-defense, sport inflatables and more. Attendees will also be invited to enjoy healthy bites by local eateries, as well as music by DJ M Dot and appearances by Burnie from the Miami Heat, Stanley from the Florida Panthers, Florida Atlantic University, Roger Dean Stadium and Drew On Air.
In addition to a full roster of activities, the indoor event will provide an opportunity for participants and families to engage in educational activations, with services provided by Baptist Health Cancer Care, Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care, Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, Baptist Health Primary Care, Baptist Health Urgent Care and more.
