Ariel B. Vazquez, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Primary Care as a Family Medicine Physician

MIAMI, Fla. – July 24, 2025 – Family medicine physician Ariel B. Vazquez, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. He provides comprehensive healthcare, such as preventive medicine, acute care and chronic disease management for people of all ages. 

In addition to practicing in family medicine and geriatrics prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Vazquez served as an assistant professor of clinical science at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

Dr. Vazquez earned his medical degree at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He completed a general medicine internship at Hospital Pavia in Yauco, Puerto Rico and a family medicine residency at Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins, Ga.

To provide personalized care, Dr. Vazquez strives to build trusting, long-term relationships with his patients by creating a supportive environment where they feel valued, understood and confident in their care. “I believe in treating the whole person, not just symptoms, considering a patient’s physical, emotional and social well-being,” Dr. Vazquez said. “My patient-centered approach incorporates active listening, shared decision-making as well as education to empower my patients to take charge of their health.”
