Annie Weber MD joins Baptist Health as an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon

November 28, 2022

MIAMI, FL – November 28, 2022 – Orthopedic surgeon Annie Weber, M.D., joins Baptist Health as a hand surgery specialist with a focus on fracture management, joint replacement, microsurgery, nerve compression and arthritis.

With a longtime love for science, her passion for medicine flourished during a medical mission trip to Uganda in college. Helping people infected with the HIV virus, she loved talking with patients and their families while providing support and care.

Dr. Weber recently completed her orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. During her training, she learned to “lay a healing” hand and believes that her role as a hand and upper extremity surgeon allows her to live out this principle.

“We’re pleased that Dr. Weber is the newest member of our team of orthopedic experts,” said John Uribe, M.D., Chief Medical Executive, Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. “She is exceptional in providing her patients surgical and nonsurgical options with functional solutions to improve their daily lives.”

During her residency, she received the University of Maryland Resident Researcher of the Year award and an AOTrauma North America’s 2019 Resident Research grant. She is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Weber will see orthopedic patients at three convenient locations: 975 Baptist Way, Homestead, FL 33033, 91550 Overseas Hwy., Suite 207, Tavernier, FL 33070, and 5701 Overseas Hwy., Suite 17, Marathon, FL 33050.
