Andrea Vitello, M.D., Joins Baptist Health’s Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute as a Cardiologist
MIAMI – December 7, 2021 – Board-certified cardiologist Andrea Vitello, M.D., joins Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute Cardiology Group, part of Baptist Health. Dr. Vitello specializes in general cardiology, women’s cardiovascular care, echocardiography, stress testing, preventive cardiology, risk assessment and heart failure treatment. She is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and internal medicine.

Prior to joining Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute Cardiology Group in 2021, Dr. Vitello served as a cardiologist and the echocardiography lab director at Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Washington, where she oversaw the lab’s accreditation process.
Dr. Vitello has presented on cardiology and heart health at a number of public events. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed publications like Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, the Journal of Applied Physiology and the CHEST Journal.
Dr. Vitello earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where she also completed her internal medicine residency. She completed her cardiology fellowship at the University of Washington.
