Allison Belette, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Primary Care

MIAMI, FL – September 23, 2024 – Primary care physician Allison Belette, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. She provides comprehensive primary care that includes preventive care, annual physicals, screening tests, acute care and chronic disease management of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, heart failure and kidney disease.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Belette to our highly skilled team of medical professionals, dedicated to providing the highest quality care,” said Jack A. Ziffer, Ph.D., M.D., executive vice president, chief clinical officer and chief physician executive for Baptist Health. 

Dr. Belette earned her medical degree at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Ill. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas in Houston, where she received the Jennifer L. Swails MD Patient Advocacy Award for demonstrating exceptional dedication and achievements in patient advocacy.

Dr. Belette has been involved in clinical research and has published her work in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at scientific symposiums.

When it comes to patient care, Dr. Belette strives to establish a strong patient-physician relationship that is grounded in a shared commitment to establishing individualized healthcare goals that are easily understood and achievable. “I am dedicated to actively listening to my  patients’ concerns and advocating on their behalf to ensure the highest standard of care,” she said.

Dr. Belette speaks English and conversational Spanish. She will see patients at Baptist Health Primary Care | Internal Medicine Center, 8940 North Kendall Drive, Suite 900E, Miami, FL 33176.
