Alexandria Alvarez, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Primary Care

MIAMI, FL – September 4, 2025 – Primary care physician Alexandria Alvarez, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Primary Care. She specializes in lifestyle medicine, preventative health and longevity care.

Dr. Alvarez earned her medical degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Dr. Alvarez’s patient care philosophy embraces a holistic approach of lifestyle medicine to prevent, treat and reverse disease. “I focus on preventative care and promoting healthy behaviors like a nutritional diet, physical activity, sleep and stress management to help my patients live longer and healthier lives,” she said.
