Alexandr Aylyarov, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Orthopedic Care as an Orthopedic Surgeon

MIAMI, FL – August 28, 2024 – Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon Alexandr Aylyarov, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. He specializes in diagnosing, treating and preventing sports-related injuries. He is passionate about the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries throughout the body and the care of athletes of all levels, whether recreational or competitive. He has expertise in minimally invasive, arthroscopic sports medicine surgery, including arthroscopic treatment of the knee, shoulder and elbow as well as treatment of fractures and joint replacements.

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Aylyarov was an orthopedic surgeon at HCA Florida Broward Orthopedics.

Dr. Aylyarov earned his medical degree at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, graduating magna cum laude. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he served as chief resident. He also completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute in Coral Gables, Fla.

Dr. Aylyarov has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented scientific papers at professional symposiums. He is a member of several professional organizations. 

To provide the best care for his patients, Dr. Aylyarov provides individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. He employs a holistic approach, considering all aspects of health, to support comprehensive recovery and performance. “I treat patients like family members and empower them through education so they can make informed decisions and actively participate in their recovery,” Dr. Aylyarov said. “My goal is to return patients of all athletic levels to performing the sports they love and improve their overall athletic performance and quality of life.”
