Alexander Toirac, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute as a Cardiologist
MIAMI, FL – August 23, 2023 – Alexander Toirac, M.D., joins Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute as a cardiologist. Dr. Toirac specializes in general cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear imaging and is fluent in English and Spanish.
“We welcome Dr. Toirac to our excellent team of Baptist Health cardiologists,” said Dr. Jonathan Fialkow, M.D., deputy director of the Institute, chief of cardiology and co-medical director of the lipid management program of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. “Joining us as one of the top fellows from a prestigious cardiology program, he will help our patients and physician community with his emphasis on emerging data and evidenced-based medicine.”
Prior to joining Baptist Heath, Dr. Toirac completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association.
