Adriana Grau Chaves, M.D., Joins Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute as a Neurologist

MIAMI, FL October 3, 2025 – Board-certified neurologist Adriana Grau Chaves, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the brain and nervous system, such as epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Grau Chaves earned her medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Asuncion – Facultad de Medicina, located in Asuncion, Paraguay. She completed an internal medicine residency and a neurology residency at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. Her clinical training also includes an epilepsy fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, and a clinical neurophysiology/EEG fellowship at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Grau Chaves’ research focuses on developing therapeutics that improve patient outcomes in epilepsy. She has published her work in medical journals and presented at numerous scientific meetings. Using evidence-based medicine, Dr. Grau Chaves focuses on collaborative, multidisciplinary care to guide patients with chronic neurological conditions on their healthcare journey. Her aim is to educate patients and empower them to take an active role in their health.

Dr. Grau Chaves is fluent in English and Spanish. She will treat patients at Baptist Hospital, 8950 N. Kendall Drive, Suite 405W, Miami, FL 33176.
