Abena Serwaa Bonsu Annor, M.D., M.S., Joins Miami Neuroscience Institute as a Neurohospitalist
MIAMI, FL – November 3, 2025 – Neurologist Abena Serwaa Bonsu Annor, M.D., M.S., has joined Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in the treatment of hospitalized patients with neurological disorders.
Dr. Annor is committed to advancing neurology through education and the sharing of best practices with a global perspective. She also contributes to the medical community as a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Association.

After earning a master’s degree in medical sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Annor remained at USF to earn her medical degree. She completed an internal medicine internship as well as a neurology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. During the final years of her clinical training, she educated fellow residents, medical students, faculty and staff through presentations and bedside teaching.
Dr. Annor’s patient care philosophy centers around shared decision-making, which fosters a stronger, more trusting patient-physician relationship. “By involving patients in their care, I increase my patients’ understanding of treatment options, improve treatment adherence and achieve better health outcomes,” she said.
Dr. Annor is fluent in English and Akan (Twi). She will treat hospitalized patients at Baptist Health Baptist Hospital, located at 8900 North Kendall Drive, Miami, FL 33176.
