Matthew Arsenault is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Baptist Health South Florida. He joined Baptist Health in 2006 and has held various roles during his 18 years with the organization. Mr. Arsenault is responsible for overseeing the finance division, which includes accounting, financial planning and analytics, risk management, revenue cycle, supply chain and the organization’s treasury team, which includes all Baptist Health banking relationships and oversight of its investment portfolio.
Mr. Arsenault is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a master’s degree in accounting from Florida International University, a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Portland, as part of the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education Program, and a bachelor’s degree in history and economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
Mr. Arsenault is an at-large board member and serves as treasurer and chair of the finance committee for The Children’s Trust of Miami-Dade County, a dedicated funding source whose mission is to plan, advocate for and fund strategic investments meant to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Mr. Arsenault worked in the advisory services divisions for the accounting firms Deloitte & Touche and MBAF.
