Lourdes A. Boue is Chief Executive Officer of Doctors Hospital and West Kendall Baptist Hospital.
Ms. Boue has been an executive with Baptist Health for more than two decades, most recently serving as CEO of West Kendall Baptist Hospital. She has been responsible for the hospital’s general operations, including the planning, implementation and ongoing evaluation of services. She has served as the hospital’s growth champion and oversaw the four-story clinical expansion, opened in 2022, which doubled the size of the Emergency Department and brought new services, including a cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology suite to the growing West Kendall community.
In her career, Ms. Boue has also served as Vice President of Operations at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. She previously held positions as Vice President of Baptist Outpatient Services and Corporate Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Baptist Health, focusing on resource allocation, long-range planning, leadership development, strategic marketing, quality and patient satisfaction initiatives. Prior to joining Baptist Health, she was the CFO for the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged and audit/consulting manager for an international accounting firm.
Active in our community, Ms. Boue is a current board member of the Southeast Florida Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, past Chairman of the Board for the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, past Chairman of the State of Florida Board of Accountancy Probable Cause Panel and past co-chairman and member of the Agency Audit Committee for United Way of Miami-Dade.
Ms. Boue is a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She also holds a Master of Science in Leadership from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University.
