Ana Lopez-Blazquez

In her role as chief strategy officer, Ms. Lopez-Blazquez is responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s strategic direction, with particular emphasis on driving growth and brand management. She oversees business and master facility planning, market development, marketing and communications, consumer access, property acquisitions and land development projects.

As CEO of Baptist Health Enterprises (BHE), she manages Baptist Health’s diverse real estate portfolio, which includes about 2.7 million square feet of clinical, physician and office space across four counties. She also leads BHE Real Estate and Development Corporation, which provides full- service property management, leasing, leasing administration/accounting, tenant relations, building engineering, construction oversight and security and centralized surveillance services.

Prior to joining Baptist Health in 1987, Ms. Lopez-Blazquez worked in various planning and program development positions at Orlando Health. Additionally, she served as a Medicare compliance auditor and audit supervisor for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida.

Ms. Lopez-Blazquez received her master’s degrees in business administration and health science from the University of Florida and her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Florida International University in Miami. She serves on the board of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and of Watsco, Inc.
