If you have trouble falling asleep, staying awake or sleeping through the night, you may be among the one-third of Americans estimated to have sleep disorders. If not treated, a sleep disorder can lead to chronic fatigue, disorientation and the inability to accomplish everyday tasks.

Our specialists hold advanced training and certification in sleep medicine and are dedicated to providing quality care through in-depth evaluations and consultations. Our centers are equipped with the most advanced technology available in sleep medicine and are designed to evaluate children as well as adults. We are accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

  • Important update for our patients who use a Philips Respironics CPAP or BiPAP device for sleep apnea:

    Your device may have been recalled due to possible break-down of sound-insulating foam inside these devices which may cause health problems. Please contact your Durable Medical Equipment provider (or DME, where you get your device supplies) as soon as possible to find out what you should do next about your equipment.

    You can call Philips at 877-907-7508 or visit them online at philips.com/src-update for additional help and support.

In-Lab Sleep Studies

Our center offers in-lab sleep studies day or night, seven days a week, attended by a sleep technologist. Transportation is available at no additional cost. 

Home Sleep Studies

We have disposable home sleep apnea tests available so you can complete a sleep study from the comfort of your own bed. These disposable tests can be picked up at our diagnostic imaging location in Davie or conveniently mailed to your home at no additional cost. 

Scheduling

To schedule an appointment, please call 786-467-5240 and select option 1 or email us at DG-BaptistSleepCentralizedScheduling@baptisthealth.net. A doctor’s prescription and clinical notes from the office visit are required to schedule an appointment.
