Baptist Health West Kendall Baptist Hospital is proud to deliver expert surgical care to our community in western Miami-Dade County.

Our skilled team of world-class physicians specialize in minimally invasive surgery as well as innovative robotic techniques. We treat diseases of the colon, anus, rectum, intestine, gallbladder, thyroid and breast. We also treat hernias, diverticulitis and GERD, and perform weight-loss surgery. This new facility features clean, spacious and modern recovery rooms with more face-to-face time with our entire surgical department.

West Kendall Baptist Hospital is located at 15955 SW 96 St. with convenient parking. Please enter through the main entrance of the hospital and our registration staff will welcome you. Have your photo ID and insurance card ready as well as contact information for your preferred pharmacy. Your surgical team or insurance company may have asked you to bring any other relevant medical records so please have that information ready as well.

Preparing You For Your Visit

To prepare for your visit, please make sure to bring the following items with you:

  • Photo identification
  • Insurance card
  • Written authorization of referral from insurance company (If applicable)
  • Completed history and physical questionnaire and signed consent forms (If applicable)
  • Copies of any relevant medical records, radiology images, consultation reports, etc.
  • Name of pharmacy, full address, and phone number, in the event that a prescription is ordered
