Executive Leadership

Vedner Guerrier is the Vice President of Operations, Clinical Enterprise, at Baptist Health South Florida, overseeing the Baptist Health Medical Group operations, which include 600 employed physicians and 197 office locations from Key West to West Palm Beach.

Before joining Baptist Health, Vedner worked for the Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida. Over his 24 years at Memorial Hospital, he served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer, Chief Executive Officer for Memorial Hospital West, and Chief Executive Officer for Memorial Hospital Miramar. Vedner is experienced in directing multidisciplinary teams using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to achieve collaborative resolution for various operational challenges, quality patient care initiatives, and improving healthcare safety. He is a board member and coach for the Quality Training Program in the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Through ASCO, Mr. Guerrier coaches physicians nationally and internationally on using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to promote collaboration, improve quality, and enhance patient care.

Vedner received a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from Florida International University. Certifications include Registered Radiation Therapist (R.T.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) from Florida International University.

Vedner is married to his beautiful wife, Lorena, and has two children, Ethan and Victoria.
